Rachel Ann Keith and John Denver Leach had just returned from the Kosciusko Christmas parade with their three children on the night of December 10, 2016. Not long after, the couple left their sons alone in the house, according to authorities. The boys were age 4-11.
It was around midnight when a neighbor noticed the family’s trailer was on fire. By the time fire crews arrived, it was an inferno. An Attala County grand jury charged both Rachel Ann Keith and John Denver Leach with three counts of felony child neglect. They could each face 15 years in prison.
