BILOXI, Miss. – Oyster season could soon be back open.
The Department of Marine Resources saying that the red tide algae bloom has weakened and that they’ll know within 10-14 days if it’s safe for fisherman to haul in the delicious treat. Oyster season closed early last month because of the outbreak, which lead to the deaths of 37 large fish.
