The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is suspending enforcement of the Biden Administration’s COVID vaccine mandate for private businesses with over 100 employees. In a statement on their website, OSHA says they remain confident in their authority to protect workers in emergencies, but have suspended activities related to the implementation and enforcement of the ETS pending future developments in the litigation.

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals issued a stay Friday, ordering OSHA to “take no steps to implement or enforce” the mandate “until further court order.”
The mandate had called for businesses with more than 100 workers to require their employees be vaccinated by January 4th, or be tested weekly.
