SOUTH BEACH, Fla.–There were points in Wednesday night’s Orange Bowl where it looked like Mississippi State would come back, but Georgia Tech ultimately took it too far for the Bulldogs to catch up. The final was 49 to 34.
The Bulldogs (10-3) rallied to take it to 20 points to Georgia’s 21 at the half, but Georgia TYech pulled out ahead in the second half and kept pouring it on.
Both games showed excellent offensive skills and quarterback Dak Prescott threw for over 400 yards in the game. That makes him a record holder for a season and for a single game, with 500 total yards.
