BILOXI Miss.- Last year on June 6, baseball fans celebrated as the Biloxi Shuckers took the field for the first time at MGM Park.
This year, they celebrate that one year anniversary and opening experience.
Monday marks the anniversary of Biloxi’s 14-inning battle with theMobile BayBears. The game lasted over four hours and the Shuckers won 5-4 in front of a crowd of 3,759.
Officials celebrate MGM Park at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art at12 noon on Monday. They’ll announce the player of the month at the event.
Since opening day MGM Park has completed the south entrance to the stadium, added a parking garage as well as a new Seagull mascot.
