Two Mississippi inmates are still on the run. Three inmates escaped custody on Friday from separate correction facilities and while 59-year-old Benny Ray Blansett was caught late Saturday, 31-year-old Jonathan Blankenship and 28-year-old Christopher Benson High have not been captured yet and are to be considered armed and dangerous.
As of Monday morning, multiple news outlets are reporting that law enforcement agencies are conducting a search near Pearson road just south of I-20 in Rankin County after receiving a tip that the two convicts may be in the area.

Local, state, and federal agencies are involved in the search including the FBI which has offered a $10,000 reward along with Mississippi Crimestoppers $2,500 reward regarding information leading to the capture of the men.
Blankenship and High, 28, were discovered missing at 7:00 a.m. on Friday from the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Pearl.
“These individuals are considered to be armed and dangerous,” said Mississippi Department of Public Safety Commissioner Marshall Fisher. “We’re asking the public to contact law enforcement with any related information regarding these subjects no matter how insignificant they may consider it to be. Additionally, we caution the public to not attempt to apprehend these subjects on their own.”
