For the seventh year in a row, the Ole Miss softball team is heading to the postseason.
The Rebels (30-26, 8-16 Southeastern Conference) will be the No. 3 seed in the Salt Lake City Regional, set for May 19-21. They’re joined by No. 1 seed and host Utah, No. 2 seed Baylor, and No. 4 seed Southern Illinois.

Although the Rebels finished conference play with a losing record, the SEC was definitely awarded by the committee for the gauntlet that it is with 12 of 13 teams being selected to the field of 64. Mississippi State (28-25, 7-16 SEC) was the lone team to not make it.
The Rebels will open their regional against Baylor, who they’re 1-4 against all-time, on Friday at 12 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
