Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart is spreading joy and cheer this holiday season.
On Monday, the veteran Rebel signal-caller made his way to Jackson to participate in private aviation company Nicholas Air’s annual “Stuff the Plane” teddy bear drive in collaboration with Children’s of Mississippi — the state’s lone children’s hospital.
Dart, known for his excellence on the field as the winningest player at his position in Ole Miss history, spent a little time away from the gridiron for a good cause. During his visit to Mississippi’s capital city, the senior passed out stuffed animals to youth patients and spent quality time with them.

“We want to thank everyone involved in helping spread Christmas cheer to our amazing friends, from the Pilots to the hospital staff. Stuff the Plane was a huge success, and we were beyond thrilled to be able to bring smiles to these wonderful children’s faces! Merry Christmas,” a statement from Nicholas Air, headquartered in Oxford, reads.
Joining Dart at the charitable function was Mississippi Lt. Gov. Delbert Hosemann, who took to social media with a humorous post intended to note the distinguishing differences between the two mens’ appearances.
“Joined Jaxson Dart at Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital for Nicholas Air Stuff the Plane to gift teddy bears to children. Very nice and class to have him giving back to children of Mississippi,” the elected official wrote on X. “I am the one in the tie.”

Earlier this year, Dart partnered with Nicholas Air, marking the first name, image, and likeness agreement between an athlete and a private aviation company. Since reaching the deal, the Kaysville, Utah native has accounted for 3,875 passing yards, 452 rushing yards, and 28 total touchdowns — earning him the Conerly Trophy.
Though Dart has not officially declared for the NFL, the consensus belief is that he will toss his hat in the ring at a shot to play in the pros. With that in mind, Ole Miss fans will have one last chance to watch the beloved field general in Rebel garb when the team faces Duke in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl on January 2.
