The Ole Miss football team has moved up one spot to No. 12 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 after Saturday’s 28-21 win over Auburn.
Propelled by its defense, Ole Miss was able to secure back-to-back victories over the Tigers for the first time since 1951-1952. Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste led the way with seven tackles, two for loss. John Saunders and Zamari Walton were responsible for the two takeaways.
Offensively, Jaxson Dart went 10 for 17 with 202 yards, three total touchdowns, and an interception. His primary target was Tre Harris, who had 102 yards on four receptions. Quinshon Judkins led the team on the ground with 121 yards and a score.
Ole Miss (6-1, 3-1 SEC) will return to Vaught Hemingway Stadium Saturday night against Vanderbilt (2-6, 0-4 SEC) at 6:30 p.m.
