Ole Miss will face the NCAA allegations against them on September 11 at 8:30 a.m.
They will go before the committee to address the infractions filed against them as well as the case summary. The hearing will take place at John A. Roebling Ballroom at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Cincinnati RiverCenter Hotel in Covington, KY.
The committee has set aside two to three full days for the hearing. Information discussed there is considered confidential.
“Obviously there is a lot of preparation that goes into getting ready for the hearing so we spend a lot of time with our legal council, advisers, just making sure we are ready for all the questions,” said Ross Bjork, Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics.
The committee has requested that the following people be present for the hearing: Mr. Matt Ball, Mr. Ross Bjork, Mr. Maurice Harris, Mr. Derrick Nix, Ms. Julie Owen, Dr. Ron Rychlak.
In the document presented to Ole Miss it lists Harris and Nix as high risk, considering their involvement in the alleged violations.
