The arms race to have the best facilities across college football is in full force with Ole Miss taking a major step forward this week.
Following a $45.7 million investment in the Manning Center, the Rebels’ football training facility now features an expanded locker room including a barber shop, hydro tanks, plunge pool, and a players’ lounge.
Also on display will be a more than 10,000-square-foot weight room with spaces for pilates and yoga. A new training room will host hydrotherapy, massage therapy, compression units, sensory deprivation tanks, cold tubs, hot tubs, and concussion rehabilitation technology.
“We are super excited to move into the new facility,” Ole Miss defensive lineman Cedric Johnson said. “It’s going to give us a competitive edge in the conference. We appreciate everyone who’s had a hand in putting this together.”
