Good news, Ole Miss football fans! Meet the Rebels is back.
Per a release from the university, Ole Miss will welcome fans to the Manning Center to secure autographs from football players with the return of Meet The Rebels Day on Saturday, April 12. This will be the first time this event has been held since 2019.
Meet the Rebels Day will be the highlight of Ole Miss’ spring practices, as the team will not conduct a spring game this year.
“In keeping with our program’s pro mindset, we are taking a business-like approach with our spring drills with the focus of improving as a team,” Rebel head coach Lane Kiffin said.
“After careful thought including the timing of other spring events, we determined it was best not to hold a spring game. We look forward to hosting a fan day for the Ole Miss family to engage with our players on a personal level.”
Admission is free to the event, which is tentatively set to begin at 1 p.m., just hours before the Ole Miss baseball team hosts Tennessee in game two of the series against the Volunteers. In addition to player autographs, fans will hear from Kiffin and other Ole Miss coaches during a question-and-answer program.
The Rebels will begin spring football drills on March 18. Practices are closed to the public. Ole Miss will be coming off of back-to-back seasons consisting of 10 or more wins. The team will have a new look in the upcoming campaign, particularly at quarterback with Austin Simmons set to take over for record-setting signal-caller Jaxson Dart.
Ole Miss will kick off the 2025 season versus Georgia Southern in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday, August 30.
