The Ole Miss football program has given the public an official first look at the newly renovated Manning Center.
Following a $45.7 million investment, the Rebels’ football training facility now features an expanded locker room including a barber shop, hydro tanks, plunge pool, and a players’ lounge.
On display is a more than 10,000-square-foot weight room with spaces for pilates and yoga. A new training room hosts hydrotherapy, massage therapy, compression units, sensory deprivation tanks, cold tubs, hot tubs, and concussion rehabilitation technology.
“You look around the country, especially in our league, and you’re always seeing new, renovated spaces. You have to do those things in order to keep up with your peers,” Ole Miss Athletics Director Keith Carter said of the facility on SportsTalk Mississippi. “I think our team did a fantastic job.”

Ole Miss defensive lineman Cedric Johnson believes the renovated Manning Center will separate the program from its rivals in the SEC.
“We are super excited to move into the new facility,” Johnson said. “It’s going to give us a competitive edge in the conference. We appreciate everyone who’s had a hand in putting this together.”
The Rebels will kick off their 2023 campaign versus Mercer on September 2.
