The Ole Miss football team has filled a scheduling hole for the 2025 season.
Washington State will be coming to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at a date yet to be announced. The news comes after Ole Miss and USC canceled a scheduled home-and-home set to begin next year and Wake Forest gave a last-minute warning that they would no longer fulfill a previously slated matchup in Oxford next season.
The upcoming meeting between the Rebels and Cougars will mark the first game between the two football programs, and it makes Washington State only the second current or former Pac-12 team Ole Miss has faced after playing a home-and-home with Cal in 2017 and 2019.

Washington State joins The Citadel, Georgia State, and Tulane on the non-conference slate for Ole Miss in 2025 — a season that will include eight home games in Oxford for the first time ever.
The Rebels (5-1, 1-1 SEC) are currently continuing the 2024 campaign with high hopes of making an inaugural appearance in the College Football Playoff. After suffering a tough home loss to Kentucky, Ole Miss bounced back and dominated South Carolina 27-3 on the road. Next up is a road stop at LSU on Saturday.
