OXFORD, Miss.- Ole Miss plays Louisiana-Lafayette this Saturday to fight for a spot in the College World Series.
They will play their best-of-three-series Saturday at 7 p.m., Sunday at 8 p.m., and if necessary, Monday at 6 p.m. The games will be televised on ESPN2 and hosted by Louisiana-Lafayette.
Ole Miss advanced to the super regional after beating Washington 3-2 in 10 innings Monday. ULL advances after beating Mississippi State crushing hopes of an in state rivalry game between Ole Miss and State.
Ole Miss’ last trip to the College World Series was in 1972. They are seeking their fifth College World Series bid. The Cajuns have been to the College World Series once, making the trip to Omaha in 2000.
