OMAHA, Neb. — Ole Miss has beaten Texas Tech at the College World Series 2-1. This is the first time the Rebels have won a game at the College World Series since 1969.
The Rebels took home the win during the ninth inning when John Gatlin got a base hit to knock in Aaron Greenwood, who was pinch running for the Rebels at third base.
Ole Miss will now play the loser of the game between the University of Virginia and Texas Christian University at 7 pm Thursday.
