Ole Miss head basketball coach Kermit Davis has tested positive for COVID-19.
A statement from the program explained that Davis is awaiting confirmation on a second test after a test Monday came back positive.
Davis’ isolation period would cause him to miss the Rebels’ first two games of the 2020 season which are currently scheduled to take place next week as part of the Justin Reed Classic in Oxford (Nov. 25-27).
Contact tracing within the program is still ongoing.
