Ole Miss has announced that Tuesday’s midweek baseball game is being canceled due to weather concerns.
The Rebels were scheduled to welcome Southeastern Louisiana to Swayze Field at 6 p.m., but the show will not go on as a result of inclement conditions. Recent forecasts from the National Weather Service have Oxford under a wind advisory on Tuesday night with gusts expected to reach a high of 35 miles per hour. A strong likelihood of thunderstorms touching ground is also anticipated.
According to the Ole Miss Athletics Department, the contest will not be rescheduled for a later date.
Due to the threat of inclement weather, tomorrow’s game against Southeastern Louisiana has been canceled.
Wednesday’s game against Murray State will still be played as scheduled.

The No. 17 Rebels will, however, return to action on Wednesday. Murray State will make the trek to Oxford University Stadium for a 4 p.m. first pitch. The game will be aired on SEC Network+.
As things stand, Mississippi State has yet to announce if anticipated incoming weather will alter the Bulldogs’ Tuesday afternoon matchup versus No. 20 Southern Miss.
