Ole Miss will take a trip across the country as part of a newly announced future home-and-home series.
In 2025, the Rebels will travel to Los Angeles for a meeting with USC before hosting the Trojans in 2026. In what could be an interesting storyline when kickoff finally arrives, Ole Miss recently hired Lane Kiffin, who served as the head coach at USC from 2010-2013.
The Trojans famously fired Kiffin on the tarmac at LAX following a 2013 loss to Arizona State – an experience that he referenced during his introductory press conference back in December after being greeted by Rebel fans at the Oxford airport the night before.

A lot could change between now and 2025, but Kiffin is already looking forward to the matchup.
“USC will always be a special place to my family and me, and we were excited to finalize this series,” Kiffin said. “This will showcase two of college football’s greatest gamedays, and we look forward to this meeting down the road.”
According to Ole Miss Athletics, the 2025 matchup will be the first meeting of the two programs and it will be just the third time in program history that the Rebels will travel to California after facing Cal in 2017 and Fresno State in 2011.
