In an unexpected move, All-American Ole Miss running back Quinshon Judkins has informed staff within the Ole Miss football program that he will be entering the transfer portal, sources have told Matt Zenitz with 247Sports.
The move by Judkins comes just three days after veteran quarterback Jaxson Dart announced that he would be staying at Ole Miss to play under the leadership of head coach Lane Kiffin for another season.
In his two seasons at Ole Miss, Judkins piled up an impressive stat sheet and received numerous honors. The junior rushed for a combined 2,725 yards and scored 31 total touchdowns on the ground in his freshman and sophomore campaigns, earning him first-team All-American honors and a Conerly Trophy.
Judkins will be exiting an Ole Miss team that is coming off a historic season in which the program amassed its first-ever 11-win season in history, which was capped off by a Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl victory over Penn State.
Ole Miss has also seen success in both the high school recruiting trail as well as the transfer portal, adding new members to have the team prepared to compete to be featured in its first-ever College Football Playoff match.
As of now, Judkins has not yet formally announced which program he plans to join for the 2024 season.
