The Ole Miss women’s basketball team is advancing in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007 after dominating Gonzaga 71-48 Friday night.
On the way to victory over the 9-seed Bulldogs (28-5), the 8-seed Rebels (24-8) made program history on both offense and defense. Not only did Ole Miss break a program NCAA Tournament record in fewest points allowed, but the team also knocked down a program-best seven three-pointers.
