Officials are still searching for escaped inmate Ryan Young, who managed to get away after a court appearance in Lauderdale County last Wednesday.
According to a report from WLBT, police came into contact with Young on Saturday night in Louisiana. The 28-year-old led them on a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle before crashing into a bridge. He then got out on foot and has not been seen since.
Young is described as a 5’9” Black male with dreadlocks. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement immediately.
Young is serving a 40-year sentence for vehicle and residential burglaries, grand larceny, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. This is the second time he has escaped prison after he was on the run for several days in 2017.
