The suspect accused of conducting a mass shooting at an Ocean Springs restaurant has been identified.
WLOX has confirmed that Fadarius Davon Williams is held at the Mobile County, Ala. jail awaiting extradition back to Mississippi.
Williams is reportedly the suspect connected to the Friday night mass shooting at The Scratch Kitchen, which left six injured and one person, 19-year-old Chayse Harmon, deceased.
Upon arrival back in Mississippi, Williams is set to be charged with first-degree murder for the death of Harmon.
The injuries sustained by the other six involved in the incident are not believed to be critical at this time.
Anyone with more information connected to the shooting still is urged to call investigators at (228) 875-2211 or to leave an anonymous tip with Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers by calling at (877) 787-5898.
A $2,500 cash reward for information leading to an arrest is being offered.
In addition, Ocean Springs city leaders plan to file a temporary restraining order against The Scratch Kitchen on Wednesday in an attempt to permanently prevent the restaurant from reopening at its current location.
Ocean Springs figureheads are also in discussions regarding the creation of a task force with local business owners to discuss security concerns and increase police presence in the downtown area.
