MERIDIAN, Miss.–The cocaine found in a tractor-trailer rig Tuesday night was worth around $350,000, say Meridian Police. It was 10 kilos of coke and now two people are under arrest.
The bust happened around 11 p.m. Police think the drugs were on the way from Houston, Texas to the northeastern U.S.
The names of the people arrested were not released because police had not filed charges yet.
Police didn’t tell News Mississippi why the rig was pulled over, but WTOK-TV reported Lt. John Griffith said sometimes those kind of busts are made on random traffic stops.
