BATESVILLE, Miss. – An elementary school in Batesville has been destroyed by fire.
At least ten fire departments in Panola County rushed to the scene just after 8 p.m. Friday to help battle the flames which were already spreading across the structure when they arrived.
No injuries were reported. Fire investigators were back on the scene Saturday to try to determine what caused the blaze, but they think it was electrical.
