WAYNESBORO, Miss.–Nightclubs, were apparently not the safest place to be for Independence Day weekend. At least two people were shot and killed, both early Sunday morning around the same time, in separate cities.
Waynesboro was the scene of the first killing, at Club Embassy. About 1:45 in the morning a guy got knifed inside the club. That started a fight and the people took it outside where another guy got shot dead, in the parking lot. Police say they know who did it, but they haven’t arrested them yet.
In Hattiesburg, less than an hour later, at about 2:15, Jabarri Goudy, just 17, was shot and killed at Club Memories, reports WDAM. Police looking into what happened. Nobody has been arrested yet, and if you know anything, police would appreciate a call.
