This evening, Governor Phil Bryant delivers his State-of-the-State address from the House Chamber at the State Capitol. Among the topics he will tackle:
–Consolidation of state agencies. Merging school districts & state agencies for greater efficiency.
–FY 2017 budget. Even with it’s one percent cut, it still amounts to 6.26 billion dollars, which is 730 million dollars more than in 2012.
–The good news that Mississippi is currently sporting it’s lowest rate of unemployment since 2004.
