OXFORD, Miss.- The 15th case of Zika Virus for 2016 has been reported in Mississippi, this time from Lafayette County.
The Mississippi State Department of Health isn’t saying where it’s coming from but have reported that it was due to traveling. MSDH said they will release more details on Monday.
This is now the 15th case of the virus with some counties in the state seeing more than one individual infected:
Chickasaw – 1
DeSoto – 1
Harrison -1
Hinds – 1
Lafayette – 1
Madison – 2
Neshoba -1
Noxubee – 1
Oktibbeha – 2
Panola – 2
Rankin – 2
