MANTACHIE, Miss.–A second furniture manufacturer in the last week has announced it will be moving into the state of Mississippi.
Jackson Furniture out of Cleveland, Tenn. will be moving its operations to Mantachie where it will set up its upholstery operations.
They purchased the 183,000 square foot building that used to be home to TownHouse Furniture and PeopLoungers and they expect to be functional by the end of the year.
They’ll build both motion and stationery furniture at the plant.
