NESHOBA COUNTY, Miss.- Neshoba Central Elementary received a grant for their K-2 library.
Almost like Christmas has come early, the elementary school receives a grant from bestselling author James Patterson. It was part of a $1.5 million gift to schools for their libraries.
27,000 schools applied for the grant and 467 were chosen. Neshoba Central was one of four in the state that got a grant. Money will go to buy non-fiction books and get them in the hands of students.
