Four people have been arrested in a major drug bust in Jackson.
According to Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones, deputies executed a search warrant on a property in Mississippi’s capital city after receiving information regarding the possible distribution of illegal drugs.
Upon investigation, authorities seized roughly 238 pounds of marijuana, $74,743, two guns, and a 2017 Honda Accord.
32-year-old Donald Silas, III. is charged with aggravated trafficking of controlled substance. 20-year-old Jahzarra Bracey is charged with aggravated trafficking of controlled substance with a firearm as well as child endangerment.
Castleman Shepherd, 18, is charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. William Shepherd, 47, is charged with intent to distribute marijuana.
Sheriff Jones says deputies were assisted by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, U.S. Marshals, and the Fugitive Task Force.
