NCAA officials have determined that despite the ongoing rain delay, the games must go on for the 2017 NCAA College Baseball Hattiesburg Regional at Pete Taylor Park at Southern Miss.
Here’s the new schedule:
Mississippi State vs. University of Illinois-Chicago elimination game; 10am.
Southern Miss vs. South Alabama; 1pm.
The winners of those games will play each other at 6pm.
Constant rainfall in Hattiesburg delayed the games Saturday.
On Friday, Southern Miss grabbed a comeback win over UIC, 8-7.
South Alabama defeated Mississippi State 6-3.
