SMITH COUNTY, Miss. – A natural gas line explosion in Smith County happened Monday off a country road just west of Raleigh. Smith County Emergency Management tells News Mississippi that no injuries have been reported. Firefighters were on scene shortly after trying to control the flames.
The gas line belongs to the company Pan Southern Petroleum. The Clarion Ledger reports a company from Texas is on the way to take care of the fire.
