JACKSON, Miss. – Al Joyner has died. He is the owner of several Jackson area McDonald’s franchise restaurants and brother of radio personality Tom Joyner.
“My brother Albert passed away this morning,” Tom Joyner, said in a tweet today. “Great husband, father and brother. We’ll miss him.”
Friends said Al Joyner had been in the hospital for more than a month before his death early Wednesday.
Joyner, who operated Ridgeland based My Joy Inc, is survived by his wife and four children.
