JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The estranged wife of a Mississippi Navy commander found murder in a Jacksonville hotel in February has been arrested along with two other men.
Police say the trio planned to collect more than $1 million from Alphonso Doss’ life insurance. Yolinda Doss is accused of standing watch outside the room while her boyfriend and another man strangled Doss.
The three were arrested Tuesday and charged with second degree murder and assault and battery during a burglary. Doss, Anthony Washington and Ronnie Wilson II were all denied bond during a Wednesday morning hearing. They are scheduled to appear in court again September 3.
