GAUTIER, Miss.–Mississippi mullets were celebrated in Gautier this weekend, and it might surprise you that Billy Ray Cyrus didn’t bring his gigantic 90s mullet. This Mullet Fest is all about the fish. News Mississippi’s Todd Adams was there and captured the sounds.
The Mullet Fest featured music from local and regional bands and celebrated a fish that you generally cook whole and that is eaten around the world. You can catch plenty in the Mississippi sound.
