COVID-19 is continuing to move through the Magnolia state, according to the Mississippi State Department of Health’s latest report confirming 2,677 new cases from the weekend.
Monday’s update brings the state’s total number of cases to 831,066. With five additional deaths, the total number of Mississippians who have passed as a result of the virus is now 12,512. Additionally, there are currently 146 ongoing outbreaks in long-term care facilities.
As of June 21, the total number of Mississippians who are fully vaccinated is 1,554,082.
