2,212 more cases of COVID and 50 deaths are being reported by the Mississippi Dept. of Health this Friday with 219 ongoing outbreaks in long-term care facilities.
This is the fourth day in a row we’ve seen less than 2,500 cases. In a COVID-19 Health Care Town Hall on Tuesday, Dr. Paul Byers of MSDH noted that Mississippi may be nearing the end of the current wave.
