OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. — A Mississippi family is invading reality-TV. You may have been to the Orrison family’s restaurant, The Shed Barbeque and Blues Join in Ocean Springs. Now you can catch that family on the Food Network on their show, “The Shed.”
“It’s featured around our world of barbeque, which is not just having a restraint that sells it. We live it. We just won Memphis in May, world champions in whole hog,” said Linda Orrison.
She says everyone on the show are real people who work at the restaurant and considers all of them to be part of their family.
“It is going to be a show that the state of Mississippi is going to be very proud of, we made that clear when we started that this is not going to be a redneck show. Already we have already had the opportunity to show the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
“The Shed” premieres this Monday night at 9pm.
