A Moss Point man previously convicted for exposing himself on a college campus now faces allegations of child sex crimes in Alabama.
According to the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office, 53-year-old Richard Hightower is accused of taking graphic images of a nine-year-old girl he had been giving piano lessons to at a local church in July.
In October, Hightower was found guilty of indecent exposure related to an incident at the University of South Alabama where he allegedly exposed himself on campus.
According to WALA-TV in Mobile, Hightower has previous indecent exposures from Tuscaloosa and Jefferson counties related to incidents at the University of Alabama and Samford University.
Hightower now faces the possibility of a life sentence. This is due to the recent list of charges paired with 1994 felony convictions in Mississippi for burglary and voyeurism.
