North Mississippi looking at more clear skies today, tho you’re in for some excessive heat: your high today breaching the mid 90s in some places. Be sure to keep plenty of water handy and check the backseat before you leave the car. Tonight’s low, however, dipping into the upper 60s. Look for daytime highs to rebound tomorrow, returning to the mid 90s, though with a significant lack of humidity.
Throughout the central part of the state you’re seeing much the same treatment today: highs in the mid 90s, as well as a lack of rain AND humidity. Tonight things will cool to the lower 70s. Tomorrow starting off warm and clear, with a good chance to catch an afternoon thundershower (typical for this time of year) and some even lasting into tomorrow night.
South Mississippi riding out some scattered thunderstorms leftover this morning. Today’s high reaching the upper 80s, lower 90s with another round of afternoon rain bringing good chances to get wet.
