It’s almost all set for Mississippi State this season, as the SEC announced that the Bulldogs would be adding Georgia and Vanderbilt to the docket for the 2020 campaign.

Dates for all 10 games on the 2020 schedule remain TBA, with Mississippi State president Dr. Mark Keenum saying the conference planned a two tier release, the opponents today and the full schedule next week. State’s original conference schedule remains intact plus these two additions, coming as a result of the SEC’s decision to eliminate non-conference games this year only.
Mississippi State last played Georgia in 2017, a 31-3 defeat in Athens. State last played Vanderbilt in 2014, routing the Commodores by a 51-0 margin. Coincidentally, these are the next two East opponents for Mississippi State on the 2021 and 2022 schedule, with the sites flipped.
