JACKSON, Miss. — The November general elections are about a week away.
“We will have all of the members of the House of Representatives, our four members from the state of Mississippi. We will have one senatorial race and then there will be a number of judicial races; some of those do not have competition,” explained Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann.
His office has created a polling locator to help voters find their correct polling precinct and get directions. “And also your ballot is on there. So the actual ballot you will see in your polling place will be right there on your screen. You can take a look and make your decision or look further into a candidate’s qualification.” Hosemann said the polling locator will both help to education voters and save them time.
The election is Tuesday, November 4. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
