GULFPORT, Miss. – In Gulfport, they’re lined-up out the door and are ready for their refund.
They’re all waiting to get their money back that was used to build the Kemper coal plant.
Today, marks the first day that Mississippi Power customers can choose whether to get payed back via check or bill credit.
Earlier this year, Mississippi Power was ordered to refund 350 million dollars.
Checks will be mailed out no later than December.
