JACKSON, Miss. – According to Wallethub, Mississippi is the worst place to have student debt.
The study looked at numerous factors including the unemployment rate for people aged 25-34 as well as the percent of student-loan borrowers in past-due or default status, both categories Mississippi being the worst.
