JACKSON, Miss. – There are over 330 World Trade Centers across the world, including one in Jackson, Mississippi. The Mississippi World Trade Center (MSWTC) is a nonprofit organization that aids its members with information to take their businesses to an international level.
“Ninety-five percent of all commerce is outside of our country. If you aren’t looking globally in some aspect for your business, you need to be,” said Tracy Diez.
World Trade Center locations also serve as temporary meeting places for members who may travel internationally for business.
Diez says the MSWTC also has a unique relationship with the the Mississippi Development Authority and the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Center. She says MSWTC partners with both agencies in order to provide business leaders with services that MSWTC is not able to provide.
