It is the final weekend of the Natchez Music Festival. The 27th season of the Natchez Festival of Music will present a series of events that raise a hearty salute to 200 years of music. The Festival proudly presents a diverse slate of musical events encompassing everything from blues, gospel and jazz to rock and roll, country and classical.
If you’re thinking you’ll make a blueberry pie for Memorial Day, you can always pick your own blueberries at Cedar Hill Farm in Hernando. You’ll get a hayride to the picking fields, supplies and picking containers.. and there’s a petting zoo and playground for the kids if berry picking isn’t their thing.
And if you want to celebrate memorial day weekend with your friends and community, head to Jackson’s Lake Hico Park for the Annual Memorial Day Barbecue. There will be home-cooked food, music, and fund with all the neighbors.
