In celebration of the 200th birthday of Mississippi, West Point Growth Alliance is hosting Bike-Centennial. You can either ride their bike or walk along the Kitty Dill Walking Trail and learn the history of not only Mississippi but also West Point. there will be a blues band, and art and quilt display, and more.
In Jackson, get your fix of the rodeo with the Annual Mississippi Black Rodeo. Features bareback bronco riding, barrel racing, bull riding, cowgirl’s steer undercoating, junior barrel racing, junior breakaway, steer wrestling and team roping.
And then get on the water in Gulfport with the 10th Anniversary Croaker Classic. Categories for this tournament include; croaker, speckled trout, red fish, black drum, lionfish and stand-up paddle board/kayak division. There will be a KidZone and Corn Hole Board tournament.
