According to State Farm, when you’re driving on some of those scenic Mississippi roads you’ve got a 1 in 88 chance of hitting a dear.
Last year, Mississippi was ranked 6th nationally and has now dropped to 8th, which is a good thing.
The average amount of damage done to your car, from such an accident, is $4,000.
The months you’re most likely to hit a deer are November, October and December.
