Mississippi State and Southern Miss football have revealed plans for another home-and-home series in 2030 and 2031.
The announcement, which is in addition to a home-and-home series in 2023 and 2025, was made by Southern Miss Athletics Tuesday morning.
The renewed rivalry will begin in Starkville on Nov. 18, 2023, before returning to Hattiesburg on Aug. 30, 2025. After a five-year hiatus, the series returns to Hattiesburg on Sept. 14, 2030, and to Starkville on Sept. 13, 2031.
The last time the two teams faced was in 2019 with Mississippi State winning 38-15. The Bulldogs lead the overall series, which dates back to 1922, with a 17-13 advantage.
